Wednesday, September 3rd, the Virgo Sun trines Capricorn Pluto Rx at the 11th degree.

If there is one thing Earth signs need in this life, it’s WORK.    Wherever this affects your chart—today will be a great day to get your workaholic on!!

Although, the 3rd is the day of the exact trine, this configuration has been gaining strength for the last week and will fade into next week, so there is plenty time to use it fully.  And you are most likely already experiencing it.

So, whenever the Sun and Pluto meet up, there is an increase in power and passion.  The ability to pursue one’s goals is accentuated and your capacity to concentrate on minute details will be emphasized.  Additionally, you will be given the chance to shine light (Sun) on the darker (Pluto) facets underscored by the placement of this alignment.

Whichever houses are the setting of this dynamic, you will have the opportunity to focus with Plutonian precision on achieving your aims.  Once, any hidden motivations and/or blockages are brought to the surface, there will be a singular intensity to your work at this time, however it is manifesting in your life.  Let’s not forget that Pluto is still Retrograde so this carries an impetus of introspection.

To begin, look to your Capricorn House where Pluto is transiting to interpret what this aspect could mean for you.

In my chart, the Sun is at the cusp of my 11th/12th House and Pluto is conjuncting my Capricorn Imum Coeli.   The 4th House symbolizes the primary caregiver growing up, which for me, was my father.  The 11th House is where our hopes and ideals generate from.  The 12th House is Neptune’s house.  He rules forgiveness among much more.  The Sun and Capricorn (as well, as Saturn) represent the father in the natal chart.

The work I am being asked to perform is a task of paternal absolution.  Plutonian themes are rarely pretty, so there will be many shadows to contend with.  My father and I have always butted heads, but it is high time for peace.  I am being guided to dig deep into and work through some of my childhood complaints to find the courage to forgive my father.  To get to a place where I can be kind and have compassion for the aging man he is.

Although, Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, bent on practical productivity, this trine is falling in Water houses for me (4H/12H) meaning it will be an emotional, intuitive event in my life.

If in Fire houses—creative action will be on tap.  Air houses—intellectual innovation.

It may prove to be tall orders for some of us.  But Pluto is going to be in Capricorn for a long while.  This time next year, we will have the same opportunity again during Virgo season.
