weekend, now—pivots and action points—june 12th – 14th

Rossetti_1915_Sing_Song_Girls_AngelSo, Mercury is now direct!! Neptune is now retrograde; Saturn is hovering at the zero degree. Jupiter and Uranus are still givin’ the good vibes from their fiery thrones and the Sun and Mars are of one mind in Gemini.

That’s the weekend in a nutshell, folks.

Luna will spend today and tomorrow in Taurus—slow and steady and oh, so sensual—interacting with Neptune and Chiron in Pisces and Venus in Leo. All nice for a relaxing weekend. She will then move to Gemini on Sunday, conjuncting Mercury and opposing Saturn as he regresses into Scorpio that night—gearing up mentally for the work week ahead.

The Sun overtakes Mars at 23° Gemini on Sunday, as well—beginning a new cycle for our Warrior.

In one way or another, everything mentioned leads back to the intellectualism of Gemini.

Ideas, ideas, ideas. Retracing to inject cheerful wit and bold genius.

Alright.

the truth of it all—first weeks of sagittarius saturn

Well, last week wasn’t the best for journalism, as mainstream news can attest.

Lovely-Vintage-Illustration-Clip-Art-009With the suspension of Brian Williams, the leaving of Jon Stewart and the deaths of Bob Simon and David Carr, the country’s newsrooms took a major hit. Hell, even Rosie O’Donnell leaving The View falls into this category.

Each of the above incidents has its own particular nuance of “truth”—whether parsing the rules and punishments of bending it or choosing to uphold your own personal idea of it over career, to a life time career’s worth of quality.

As you can probably deduce from the title of this post, Sagittarius rules journalism. Saturn in this sign speaks to these occurences. (Not the actual tragic deaths of Simon and Carr, of course, but the subsequent void their passing leaves among the field.)

My spidey sense goes off anytime I hear a succession of events that so perfectly illustrates the transit of an outer planet. I find it simultaneously reassuring and creepy that these things happen all in such a in your face, public way.

With the freedom of speech Charlie Hebdo killings and now the past week in American news, is it not completely apparent that Sagittarius is a Fire sign?

Quick is not fast enough. Yesterday is 3 days too late!

Saturn has some work to do—get the f’ outta the way!

Ha, good journalism!

No muss and straight to the point.

From Fixed Water to Mutable Fire—

Succedent Emotion to Cadent Creativity—

An Earth planet going through a Fire sign.

Saturn has been in Scorpio since October of 2012. And now will be in Sagittarius until December 21, 2017.

  • he returns to Scorpio on June 14, 2015
  • moves back into Sagittarius September 17, 2015
  • reaches a 2º orb of his square with Neptune in Pisces February 2015
  • the square perfects from November 19 to December 15, 2015
  • from March 25- August 13, 2016, retrogrades a 2nd time from 16º to 9º Sagittarius
  • retrogrades a 3rd time from April 5 to August 25, 2017 at 27º to 21º

So, what is this going to portend for the world at large,as well as we individuals chugging along?

I think we have already gotten a taste—right out of the gate!!
