december 12th—a new mission

This past Monday, the 8th, Jupiter turned Retrograde and will remain so until April of next year.

Edward-Burne-Jones-An-Angel-Playing-a-FlageoletOn Friday, December 12th, he will trine the Sun and Mercury conjunct in Sagittarius.

Leo is the warmhearted King, while Sagittarius and his ruler Jupiter are ever seeking the fundamental truths our existence in this universe has to offer up.

Jupiter turning retrograde finds us at year’s end. The King of Planet in the sign of the King is asking us all to  look within. To reflect; to contemplate where this ending cycle has taken us; to decide which direction we will set out for in the coming months.

We are bid to delve even further into our hearts and unlock desires that may have been overlooked in the name of forward progress. Desires that are waiting to be embraced and then actualized.

Monday’s trine from the Sun and Mercury simply kicks-off Leo Jupiter’s new quest for each of us.

And once the new year is begun, we still get 3 more months of  passionate, creative introspection.

It really is a beautiful request from the universe.

I can’t wait to answer it.

december 6th—full moon schoolin’ swap meet

Arthur-Rackham-Illustration-014

Around 7:30 AM EST, tomorrow, December 6th, the Sagittarius Sun opposes Luna for the Gemini Full Moon at 14º.

Mercury is also conjunct the Sun. The two will square Pisces Chiron and trine Aries Uranus.

Watery Fireworks dumped at the feet of a scattered Gemini Moon.

Uh oh. Uncomfortable.

All this emotional drama gushing at the Air signs, as of late. It’s more than some EVER want to handle.

And it is amazing to me how much play Chiron and Uranus have gotten in so many major events since I started this blog this past Summer.

Unreal.

By now, we should all be masters at effortlessly soothing our weary psyches as our deepest scars repeatedly surface, quickly and brilliantly to boot!

Ha! Oh, to be so lucky.

Speaking of painful wounds, this month’s Full Moon will  also incorporate an inconjunct from Capricorn Pluto to the Gemini Moon. This adds the faint feeling of jeopardy to the day—danger to our very security just below the surface.

I am working on a post concerning the long, long, long dance of Pluto, Chiron and Uranus during their sojourns through Capricorn, Pisces and Aries, respectively.

But I digress . . .

december 2nd—the Clauses have a date

Charles-Edward-Halle-Paolo-Band-FrancescaWell, as if things couldn’t get much happier in the Heavens, December 4th, the Goddess of Love and Attraction hooks up once again with Mr. Claus himself, Leo Jupiter!

Leo and Sagittarius couldn’t be more suited for pairing, each simply understands the other.

The houses of your chart blessed with this interaction will be ablaze with the feel-good vibes of Fire Benefics in easy aspect.

Jupiter and Venus love a good party and although this occurs on a Thursday, it lends an irrepressible joyous ambiance to whatever you find yourself doing.

Work or play, it’s gonna feel great!

It does not get better than this.

nov. 28th – dec. 17th—thinking plump and happy

Our winged Messenger crossed into Sagittarius country late on Thanksgiving night.

Maud-Humphrey-Vintage-Children-002Today, he is squaring Neptune in Pisces, and we all may feel a bit overwhelmed mentally. Or maybe, hopefully, that’s just me.

Again, hopefully this isn’t interfering in any travel plans for returning home. If it is, then I wish you the best of luck with your return. Dear Neptune never provides the most direct route.

Anyway.

For his remainder in Sagittarius—what is it like for Mercury, the Planet of Communication and Thinking to be traveling through the 9th sign?

Well, we will be susceptible to overindulgence.  Jupiter, who rules Sagittarius, is the God of expansion. Whatever we pick up now to play with will most likely get blown out of proportion.

Maybe good, maybe bad. Totally depends.

I’m aiming (get it?) for good!

it may get a little squirrelly

So, the holiday is tomorrow. We will have quite the cosmic accompaniment for our affairs this year.

hs-2004-45-a-small_webI will give a brief rundown of what they are and then leave everyone to their chosen activities.

Shall we?

The Sun and Venus are both in Sagittarius. And late, late tomorrow, Mercury enters the sign, as well.

Repeat: jovial fire; jovial fire; jovial fire; jovial fire . . .

november 24th—the goat takes a pit stop

Tomorrow, November 24th, Mars exacts the first inconjunct of his I/O/Q cycle with Jupiter in Leo.

View-of-ArcoThis is our first opportunity to draw jovial Lion energy to the three signs in the heavens opposite Leo—Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. And an individual chance for us each to pull Leo strengths to the houses affected by these Martian transits.

Alright.

A quincunx isn’t easy to operate—you have to think and consciously implement any revelations that pop up. But the potential is there in spades.

Traditionally with this pairing, well, Capricorn doesn’t have much in common with Leo, with the exception of the two’s penchant for wanting to be on top!

And that is just enough of a connection to get the wheels turning.

So, let’s see what the themes we are playing with look like up close and personal . . .

why so serious?—sun/venus/saturn conjunct—november 12th – 18th

Currently in the skies, Venus and the Sun are about 4º apart.The-Dragon-with-Seven-Heads

The two were cazimi on the 24th of October, and then the Goddess of Love overtook the Sun shortly before Halloween, although she remains combust at the moment.

On November the 12th, Aphrodite will conjunct Father Time at 25º of Scorpio.  Then on the 18th, the Sun will follow suit while Venus makes her move into gregarious Sagittarius.

The most dramatic day of this week long event will be Friday the 14th, where Venus/Saturn/Sun (all within 5º) will square the Moon and Jupiter in Leo.

If you are in possession of planets or points amongst the last decan of the Fixed signs, especially Scorpio and Leo, this will be a powerful few days for you.

october 27th—waves crashing

Monday of next week is going to be an emotional one, folks.

Arthur-Rackham-Illustration-016Scorpio Sun conjunct Venus will trine Pisces Neptune and the watery abyss engulfs us in a glamorous mantle.

All the while, the transiting Sagittarius Moon revives the grand-Fire-trine with Leo Jupiter to form a Kite formation along the Libra/Aries Nodal Axis.

Remember, with the Nodal Axis as a player, collective lessons to bolster our future souls are at the forefront.

Fire and Water are the zodiac’s emoters and considering newly ingressed Sun and Venus in Scorpio, the dealings of the day will be serious as a heart attack.

Fiery, sentimental, Water works.

Can you say ‘passion’?

october 7th-12th—giving the fire some backbone

Arthur-Rackham-Illustration-042The Kite between the grand-Fire-trine, Sun/Venus/North Node and Uranus/South Node crystallizes on Tuesday, the 7th.  The Sun’s end of the opposition along the Nodal Axis is sextiling Mars in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Leo.  The Moon is in Aries and well on her way to move into position for the Eclipse on Wednesday—of which I will post seperately.

Kites allow us to access the treasure trove of contained energy in a grand-trine.  This particular event is bringing the immense power of a Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse into the frey.

The universe is giving us notice it is time to move forward.

So, in this post, I’m gonna break down the new ingredients that make up the Kite formation.

october 1st -10th—an astrological bonfire

So, we got a taste of this action recently on the 25th, yes?

Starting around the 1st, Mars in Sagittarius is moving into orb with Uranus and Leo and IT IS ON!!

This aspect will continue to gain strength until it perfects around the 4th of October, then will last well into the week after.  It is forming the bedrock for a Kite formation with the Sun/Venus/Nodal Axis/Moon/Uranus during October’s Full Moon/Eclipse on the 8th.

And like any grand-Fire-trine should, it’s gonna go out with a bang, folks!

There will be a Yod involving the Moon in Taurus on October 10th, tying up Mars and Jupiter in the mix.

So much action.  You’d think someone lit a match in a gas can!

I will post about the Kite, Lunar Eclipse—all of it separately.  Right now, I want to concentrate on the grand-Fire-trine.
