At almost precisely 6:30 AM CST, on Saturday, November the 22nd, the Sun perfects his conjunction with the Moon, shortly after moving from Scorpio to the 9th sign of Sagittarius.

While most of us slumber, he passes over the Scorpio/Sagittarius cusp to immediately start a new Lunar month at sunrise, at 0º.

The very next day, the asteroid Chiron in Pisces turns direct at about 5:45 PM in the evening!!

Folks, this is a crap ton of Mutable energy swirling about the Heavens.

Flexible, adaptable, malleable!!!

why so serious?—sun/venus/saturn conjunct—november 12th – 18th

Currently in the skies, Venus and the Sun are about 4º apart.The-Dragon-with-Seven-Heads

The two were cazimi on the 24th of October, and then the Goddess of Love overtook the Sun shortly before Halloween, although she remains combust at the moment.

On November the 12th, Aphrodite will conjunct Father Time at 25º of Scorpio.  Then on the 18th, the Sun will follow suit while Venus makes her move into gregarious Sagittarius.

The most dramatic day of this week long event will be Friday the 14th, where Venus/Saturn/Sun (all within 5º) will square the Moon and Jupiter in Leo.

If you are in possession of planets or points amongst the last decan of the Fixed signs, especially Scorpio and Leo, this will be a powerful few days for you.

to have and to hold . . . full moon in taurus

Since the New Moon Eclipse, we have seen Mars change signs, Mercury turn direct, the Sun and Venus trine Neptune and the Moon gather all manner of power to get to the 14th degree of Taurus.

Ah, Scorpio Sun opposing the Taurus Moon—Fixed Water Ego against Fixed Earth Instinct—2nd House to 8th House . . .

The axis between these two lovelies is symbolic of what you have and what others share with you.

Personal possessions and joint property.

This isn’t just money—nope.

This is loyalty, self-worth, family, secrets, endurance, power, libido, shelter from the storm, obsession, comfort, intimacy, legacy, compulsion, sensuality, persistence, strength of will, passion, determination, sustenance, values, ambition . . .

The salt of the Earth is mined from this polarity.

Fixed signs have the ability to remain while all else withers back to dust. Stamina to see the job to completion. The innate drive to build an empire.

Whichever house 14º Taurus occupies is where you have the opportunity to shed Luna’s sunlight on the seedling intentions planted on the 8th. To lay to rest any demons Chiron or Pluto unearthed during this very week.

To give the  battle call, rally the troops and engage life with the full propriety of resolve and grit.

full moon prepatory cascade

From November the 2nd through the 5th, we have a series of events that will be setting up the Scorpio Full Moon on Thursday, the 6th.

First, Venus sextiles Pluto around midnight on the 2nd, giving a sexy vibe to the chilly autumn night.  The extra hour we obtain from Daylight Savings Time may come in uber handy for the weekend’s galavanting.

Lots of Water.

The early A.M. will feel loaded with by-gone wounds. Obsessions and traumas may flare.

Or a transformation may come with the rising first light of day—locking the past firmly in the rear mirror.

Regardless, the Moon moves quick and she will be long gone from the scene by sunset.

october 27th—waves crashing

Monday of next week is going to be an emotional one, folks.

Arthur-Rackham-Illustration-016Scorpio Sun conjunct Venus will trine Pisces Neptune and the watery abyss engulfs us in a glamorous mantle.

All the while, the transiting Sagittarius Moon revives the grand-Fire-trine with Leo Jupiter to form a Kite formation along the Libra/Aries Nodal Axis.

Remember, with the Nodal Axis as a player, collective lessons to bolster our future souls are at the forefront.

Fire and Water are the zodiac’s emoters and considering newly ingressed Sun and Venus in Scorpio, the dealings of the day will be serious as a heart attack.

Fiery, sentimental, Water works.

october 23rd—bathing in burgundy

Thursday, October 23rd at around 5PM, the Sun, Venus and Moon together move into the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio, creating a Partial Solar Eclipse at 0°. This marks the answer to the Total Lunar Eclipse earlier this month.

If you have planets or points at the first degrees of the Water or Fixed signs—yep, pay attention!

Regardless, whichever house this activates will be of special importance at this time.

We have been in a delightfully simmering limbo since the eclipse of 8th of October and now there will be somewhat of a release.

I say ‘somewhat’ for this is a New Moon.  And at this time, we are setting intentions for the Full Moon in two weeks.

So, there will be no cataclysmic eruption of energy, but rather the undulating leap frogging of chronological astrological events that are working to rhythmically nudge us toward our necessary futures. The universe is kindly but sternly showing us the way.
