week ahead—adapting to serve—april 27th – 30th

This week is one where Mutable energy runs the show.

Warwick-Goble-Vintage-Illustration-030But first, today, the Leo Moon squares Mars and Mercury in Taurus—so, our hearts will be out of sync with our words and actions.

Though the need to keep our environment stable is strong, we simply end up saying all the wrong things and potentially muck it all up. Best to keep a tight rein on our tongues and forego impatient decisions.

Thankfully today will be the most disjointed of the week, for by tomorrow the Moon moves into Virgo and quickly trines the Taurus Sun, as Mars sextiles Chiron. The need to organize and tweak will take over AND we’ll have the clarity and sense of purpose to see it done.

A Virgo Moon needs to serve and be of service—even if it’s just cleaning out our desks at work. We’ll simply feel the impetus to be more helpful and to take exceptional care with the “little stuff”.

Wednesday will be very similar to Tuesday—wanting to improve surroundings (Sun sextile Neptune) while having the drive (Moon trine Mars) and imaginative moxy (Moon opposite Neptune) to match our desires—with the exception of Gemini Venus squaring Pisces Chiron.

This tends to create a stumbling around like ‘awkward teenagers, unconfident and insecure affect. Especially with Venus in Gemini—our intellectual acumen will take the hardest hits.

Ughhhhh, painful!!

Hopefully, with all the Neptunian and Mutable energy about, the above will be smoothed to a fine-grade sandpaper. Well, at least long enough for us to realize our doubts need only be temporary.

Thursday, the lovely Virgo Moon will trine Taurus Mercury for a pleasant Earthy dose of feeling and thinking in simpatico, further adding to the prevailing ambiance of the week. This right before the Winged Messenger moves into Gemini, sign of his rulership, very late that evening. (More on that later.)

We are gonna know what we want and know how to get it with just enough celestial balm to keep our stress levels at a workable level. The one thing Mutable does best is roll with those punches, so no matter what life tosses at us, we will be adequately prepared to adapt as necessary.

All in all, a pretty positive week.

for the weekend—the lion, the lady and the bull—april 24th – 26th

As we finish our week, we patiently hold tight to big-hearted emotions (Leo Moon trine Sagittarus Saturn) only to see them venus-between-terminal-gods-1895-explode by Sunday.

It may prove a nice occurrence—the ability to get good and clear on what our needs are, then pitch them back to the world in over-the-top dramatic flare (Leo Moon conjunct Leo Jupiter).

Constrict to ultimately expand. Emotional exhale—big time!!

We get shown exactly how long one can cling to a dying reality (Gemini Venus inconjunct Capricorn PlutoRx), if even only in the mind. How the stubborn powers-that-be rule supreme (Taurus Sun quincunx Sagittarius Saturn) and demand we acknowledge their authority.

Thus culminating in a mini-revolt, if you will, against the truths of our personal worlds vs. the truths of the greater humanity. We will search our every thinking moment on how to better the situation (Taurus Mecury sextile Pisces Chiron)—how to make it somehow work in the day-to-day.

Only to be born anew into individuality and fire (Gemini Venus sextile Aries Uranus)—evolving.

Have fun out there!

yes, i do kiss my mom with this mouth!!—mars/mercury/pluto—april 21st – 22nd

Well, yesterday Taurus Mars trined Capricorn Pluto Rx, while today Mercury moves in to conjunct Mars and also trine Pluto. All in Earth.

Edward-Poynter-Knuckle-BonesIn the most mundane sense, what this means is cussing up a storm! It’s all tits & ass and cock & balls!! Raunchy sex jokes and off color accolades galore!

But surprisingly, no one is going to be over-sensitive to it. All the filth and smut will land precisely where it is intended—to cut the edge off a seriously stressful situation, take the bite out of a ridiculously loooonnnnggg day, to brilliantly correct a social power imbalance.

We’ll ALL get the joke and no one will be hurt. Win-win-WIN!

For the next 24 hours, we’ll get away with this misbehavior because there is an honesty to Mars/Mercury/Pluto that bleeds through without fail. We are being silly with Earth energy. Earth rules our bodies and it is in this element we can be truthful about all the nasty we turn from every other day. We actually can appreciate how raw and primal each and every one of us is.

And to add to the merriment, sweet Gemini Venus and Leo Jupiter also sextile at 12°, today. (Forming a wide Finger of God with the Lord of Filth himself, the aforementioned Pluto!) These two are known as the benefics. They are LUCKY and as a result, so are we!!

Enjoy it while it lasts, ya’ll. We’ll go back to our hyper-offended, stick-in-the-mud, our-bodies-are-dirty-and-shameful mentality soon enough.

weekend augury—giving or getting?—april 17th – 19th

Alright.

crane-walter-the-horses-of-neptune.-mythological-fine-art-print-poster.-sizes-a4-a3-a2-a1-00237-9904-pLate last night, Capricorn Pluto began retrograde motion at 15°, while today sees a fixed square between Taurus Mars and Leo Jupiter.

If things have been going to your liking as of late, all this is gonna solidify the will to keep on keepin’ on. But if you’ve been frustrated with your daily energy levels and general productivity, suffering one roadblock after another—this is gonna make you want to beat your head against the pavement.

The waning Moon is currently moving through the initial degrees of Cardinal Aries soon to conjunct Uranus and square Pluto—further intensifying the above.

If it’s good, it’s gonna be real good. Hell, yeah!!!   If it’s bad—I am truly sorry.

But hold tight—there’s hope!

Saturday, at around 3PM EST, Luna will meet up with Sol for the Aries New Moon at 28°. I’ll dig deeper into this in a later post.

Let’s just say, if you are in the kickin’ ass group, this Fire lunation will continue to fuel the way. But if you are on the ass kicked end—a blessed new beginning is certainly possible.

Regardless, on Sunday, as the Moon slips into her Taurus comfort zone, Gemini Venus squares, and Taurus Mercury sextiles, Pisces Neptune.

I always like to see the God of the Illusion engaged on a Sunday. No matter what your work schedule looks like, I find Sunday’s to be the one day EVERYONE can use a break and dear Neptune certainly can deliver.

There will be a lazy haze shrouding the day.

Like a cool breeze (Gemini) drifting (Mutable) across a tranquil lake (Pisces) intent on whispering (Mercury) sweet nothings (Neptune) lovingly (Venus) to the statuesque pines (Taurus) ashore.

the bull and his thoughts—mercury into taurus—april 13th – april 30th

Mercury has been in Taurus, whose sigil is the Bull, since Monday. He will remain here for the rest of April.

Contemplation-c.-1900-Herbert-James-DraperThe switch from Aries to the second sign has our thoughts moving from quick action plans to the steady weighing of value.

Yep, the comparative value, or lack of, just about everything will be high on our mental landscape.

What does it cost? Is it worth the price?

Is it worth my time? What are the consequences?

Will it last? Is it good quality?

What is the return on my investment? Is it a fair deal?

Is it beautiful? Does it please ALL my senses?

Is he of good character? Is our bond strong or weak?

Is the risk too great? Does this build or breakdown stability?

It goes on and on.

The Bull is patient and possessive. And a fabulous judge of worth—only the best inspires his effort. He will wait for that perfect something or someone to come along and when it/they do—he will stop at nothing to have his desire, then cling to it for dear life, till his dying day.

But if the return on investment is not up to muster, our dear Bull will simply sit amongst the daisies, indefinitely content.

Just sitting . . . and thinking . . . and biding his time. Relishing all that his senses draw in to him.

week ahead—grounding balance—april 13th – 16th

Our upcoming week shows extra emphasis on the talents of the Earth element—which is great, cuz we’re gonna need it!Friedrich-Caspar-David-ZZZ-The-Rock-Gates-in-Neurathen

For the week, the waning Moon will spend her time in Aquarius then Pisces.

While here, there is potential to get swept away with “out there” excitable daydreams and/or painful, unrealistic emotional dramas.

Uh oh.

But not likely. Let me explain.

We start the week similar to yesterday—Uranus/Pluto square still in effect, as well as the Mars/Neptune sextile. We are also getting accustomed to Venus now in Gemini.

Peachy.

And Tuesday sees Mercury leave Aries for Venus ruled, Taurus.

Lovely.
